- About ISTwente
International School Twente (ISTwente) is an international school with a Primary and a Secondary school for students from 4 – 18 years old. ISTwente currently has over 140 students from more than 25 different nationalities.
The Primary school, the international department of the Prinseschool, follows the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) which provides an excellent foundation for international secondary education.
The Secondary school, the international department of Het Stedelijk Lyceum (College Zuid), follows the International Cambridge Secondary Curriculum.
Since 2013, students have been able to take exams in this curriculum for both the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and A Levels. The certificates and diplomas are accepted by higher vocational education (hbo) programs and universities worldwide and in The Netherlands.
To respond to the needs of the international community, ISTwente is in the process of implementing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme to replace the A level programme in years 12 and 13.
