As well as lessons, we organise various projects. Inquiry-based learning and preparing our students for the 21st century requires a learning environment in which students are able to do research, use their creativity and are able to collaborate with their fellow students and teachers. Projects are not just for fun! Our projects are designed for students to learn content and skills. In order for students to learn the connection and transfer of knowledge between subjects, the projects are usually multi-disciplinary. Some of the projects are directly connected to the curriculum; some are connected to the activity week which always has its own theme. Some of the projects require trips, such as Biology and Geography fieldwork.
There are many more projects large and small and the results are always presented. The presentations take many shapes and forms and creativity is stimulated here!
